![]() ![]() Let's go through the list of a few, recent games: In fact, a huge, overwhelming majority of games is Steam exclusive. Monster Hunter World isn't, in fact, available on Origin. They've contributed absolutely nothing else to the platform, and there is no reason to assume that they are going to start contributing any time soon. All they've done is cherry picked a handful of games from already successful developers and paid them a bunch of money. They point to an area where Valve aren't doing enough, commit to doing absolutely fucking nothing, and proclaim themselves the saviors of PC gaming. ![]() It didn't take me long to figure out that it wasn't a place I wanted to hang around, and I made my way to GAF and eventually here, but I guarantee you that there are plenty of others who are still there, being exposed to all sorts of hateful bullshit. I was literally introduced to 4chan because there wasn't a central location to ask questions about games. Back when I returned to gaming after college, reddit's r/games used to link to a collection of common bug workarounds compliled by. When there is no official centralized place to find answers to questions about games, that traffic ends up going to anyone who is willing to host those answers. Yes, there are problems with Steam, but no, Epic has not solved any of them, and they have given no indication that they have any interest in doing so.
